Crafting a contemporary office brand

Enriched with history

The Crown Estate challenged us to develop a branding and marketing campaign that would establish The Marq as a unique and high-quality office development while reinforcing their role as responsible custodians of the area.

Borrowing its name from a contemporary shortening of Marquess, the son of a Duke, The Marq on Duke Street is a new 35,000 sq ft commercial offering in the heart of St James’s.

Inspired by art

We took creative inspiration from The Marq’s bespoke foyer artwork by artist Jacqueline Poncelet, as well as the rich history of craftsmanship in the surrounding area. The gold thread which forms the  brand identity honours the traditional craft of tailoring for which the area is renowned.
